Botulinum toxin type-A is a protein produced by "clostridiun botulinum" bacteria. In the face we have about 40 muscles responsible for gesticulation, but some of them produce a continuous contraction and cause expression lines that make us look older and aged. Botulinum toxin can block the activity of these muscles and look younger and fresher.
